Binance Unveils First Batch of “Vote to List” Tokens, Featuring Mubarak and Broccoli

Binance has officially announced the first batch of tokens in its newly launched “vote to list” campaign, with memecoins Mubarak and Broccoli among the candidates.

The initiative, part of Binance’s community co-governance campaign, allows users to vote on which tokens will be listed on the exchange or removed based on due diligence guidelines.

BNB Chain Tokens Take Center Stage

According to Binance, the first round of voting will feature tokens from the BNB Chain ecosystem, with plans to expand to Binance Alpha projects in future rounds.

Before a token makes the final vote-to-list pool, Binance will evaluate:

  • Project fundamentals
  • User adoption
  • Tokenomics
  • Technical risk assessment
  • Team background & compliance

“We are now opening Vote to List for the following projects, from which two tokens will be selected for listing on Binance after completing our official due diligence and procedures,” Binance stated in its official announcement.

Which Tokens Made the Cut?

Nine tokens have been selected for the first batch, including the rapidly rising BNB Smart Chain memecoins Mubarak and Broccoli. The full list includes:

  • Mubarak
  • Broccoli
  • Banana For Scale
  • CreatorBid
  • CZ’S Dog
  • Koma Inu
  • SIREN
  • Tutorial
  • WHY

Most of these tokens have seen significant price action in the past 24 hours. Notably, CZ’s Dog surged 104%, while Bananas For Scale gained 27%. However, Mubarak, which previously skyrocketed due to Changpeng Zhao-driven momentum, has corrected -32% at the time of writing.

While traders eye potential memecoin gems, ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood recently warned that most viral meme and animal-themed tokens will eventually become worthless. Speaking to Bloomberg, she suggested that only a few will establish themselves as long-term ecosystem players.
